Barbara Sloane
Barbara Sloane grew up in the United States, in typical
suburban communities, before attending Chatham
University (formerly Chatham College), where she
received her Bachelors of Arts in French. She later
was awarded a Master of Arts in Art History from the
University of Chicago. During her career, Barbara has
spent many years working with attorneys in large and
small firms, in the areas of real estate, litigation,
criminal defense, estate and probate, and divorce.
Before transitioning into the legal field, she worked
for a museum in administration and collections
research.
Barbara loves the theater and wishes she could spend
more time there. She has managed to complete three
marathons and many more quilts. Barbara likes to
travel, here in the USA, as well as abroad. Her most
recent trip was to London. While there, she was
fortunate in seeing "Monet and London: Views of the
Thames". This was a special exhibition of Monet′s
works painted when he was in London several times,
between 1899-1901. Monet had always wanted to
exhibit these paintings in London, however plans
made to do so during his lifetime fell through.
