INTERNSHIPS
Stageplays Theatre Company
Internship Program
Stageplays Theatre Company, Inc. (Stageplays®) supports a year-round internship program for college students and those pursing post-graduate studies with instructionally-related internships available in spring, summer, and fall/winter; schedule is flexible subject to availability of company artistic staff; interns receive a transportation allowance, depending on project assignment; we are happy to provide the necessary paperwork for independent study or to help interns earn course credit. In certain instances, Stageplays is able to provide internship opportunities for high school students.
Stageplays believes that interns wishing to pursue a career in the theatre should be exposed to all appropriate areas of theatrical activity in order to become familiar with the dynamics at work in and around a theatrical organization. We are looking for self-motivating and intelligent individuals, who have a positive passion for the arts and seek a hands-on internship with a non-profit theatre production company. Interns must be interested and willing to become involved in support of our artistic team; in so doing, an intern will be able to gain broad-based, instructionally-related practical experience in most areas of theatrical production.
