Michael Papaphotes

Michael Papaphotes is the Supervisor for IT User Support at Greenberg Traurig LLP, the country’s 2nd largest law firm, with over 2,000 attorneys in offices located in 29 American cities and 9 foreign countries. Michael joined Greenberg Traurig in 2009, after serving for five years as the Manager of IT Services for JetBlue Airways. Michael’s previous experience includes work as Senior Technical Solutions Engineer with IXBET/Global Crossing Financial Markets; Communications Engineer with Onsite Access; Senior Telecommunications and Systems Field Engineer with TimePlex Group; and Network and Remote Dial-In Administrator for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Michael is ITIL Foundations Certified, ITIL Service Support Practitioner Certified, Comp TIA Security+ Certified, and a Cisco Certified Network Associate.

A graduate of Pace University with a B.A. in Computer Science (Business minor), Michael earned his M.S. in Telecommunications from the School of Computer Science and Information Systems at Pace University. Michael serves on the National Board of Auditors for the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), and is a past New York State District Governor with the organization. Founded in 1922 to help Greek immigrants assimilate into society in response to the evils of bigotry and racism that emerged in early 20th century American society, AHEPA’s mission is to promote the ancient Hellenic ideals of education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, integrity, and family and individual excellence through community service and volunteerism.
