Larry Swansen
As a playwright, Larry Swansen was a grantee of the Indiana Arts Commission for his play, Boston 1721, about the fierce Small Pox epidemic in Boston during the summer of 1721. His farce, Unfamiliar Beds, was a first prize winner from the Jerome Foundation, and was premiered by the Civic Theatre of Rochester (Minnesota). Max, a New York anecdote, was given its first performance in, of all places, Greeley, Colorado, and The Elephant Train Stops There was shown at the Dayton, Ohio Playhouse Future Fest.
